An area around the historic Cat Point Creek, a tributary of the Rappahannock River, will be the focus of Dominion Virginia Power volunteers. In partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock and through a $2,500 Energizing Communities grant, volunteers will build picnic tables and benches, revitalize a pavilion and replace a roof. Twenty-two Dominion employee volunteers, who live and work in the community, will spend the day today, working in one of the area’s most treasured landmarks making it even more inviting and comfortable for local and out-of-state visitors. The work is happening today till 3:30PM in Warsaw.
