SEMINAR WILL EXAMINE FAKE NEWS

We hear about it a lot these days… Fake news. Everyone is now invited to a discussion that is being held at the Urbanna Branch of the Middlesex Library, on how to spot fake news. It’s set for next Saturday, January 19th at 10:30am at the library. Discussion will center around several methods of evaluating news, particularly science and pop culture news, along with humorous examples and valuable fact-checking resources. The Middlesex Library wants people to ask questions and investigate and come to their own, informed conclusions. The presentation is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Middlesex Library at 804-758-5717, check them out on Facebook, or visit www.yourmiddlesexlibrary.org.
