Route 3 travelers can expect more brief overnight delays in the Town of White Stone. The work began on Sunday and it will continue tonight. Resurfacing work was recently finished on Route 3 approximately a half-mile north of the Robert O. Norris Bridge, and crews are returning to install new pavement markers. Workers are installing pavement markers on Route 3 between Old Ferry Road and Blueberry Point Road in White Stone. They began last night at 7 and wrapped up for today at 5am. The work will continue again tonight, beginning at 7pm and running until 5am Tuesday. Route 3 will be reduced to a single lane in the work zone, with one-way, alternating traffic. Motorists will be guided through the work zone by a flagging crew.
