The Virginia General Assembly passes legislation to improve the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. The House measure opens the pool of potential vaccine administration volunteers and also requires collecting race and ethnicity data of those receiving the vaccine. The Senate’s version does now require the data collection. Lawmakers will now work out the differences between the two measures and once passed goes to Governor Ralph Northam’s desk for his signature.
