The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society is seeking donations of new and used items for their “Treasures and Trinkets Virtual Auction” taking place in March. Society auction chairman Rebecca George tells the Northumberland Echo that all proceeds will benefit the historical society’s mission to preserve, understand, and share local history and genealogy and will support the operations of the society’s museum, library, and educational programs.
