A two-month drug investigation conducted by the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office results in over $18,000 in drugs seized and a man facing charges. Deputies raided a residence in the 100 block of Gold Pond Road last Friday with the help of the Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force and officers seized heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana plus two handguns, a bullet proof vest, scales, ammunition and $892.00 in cash.The suspect identified as Andrew Lee Milby was found hiding in the residence.
