Middlesex County lawmakers allocate funding to deploy wireless broadband internet equipment on the Jamaica District communications tower at Church View. According to the Southside Sentinel the $175,000 cost could be mostly reimbursed with funding from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security act which was passed last March. Additional wireless internet upgrades are top priorities in the county’s 4-year Capital Improvement Program passed earlier this month.
