Eviction protection for thousands of Virginians has come to a screeching halt. As of Friday, the eviction process can begin to move forward under certain circumstances. That includes if the tenant takes more than two-weeks to pay or if the tenant is denied state aid. Residents could also be in trouble if the rent relief program runs out of funding.
