Governor Ralph Northam is laying out his plans for 2021. He gave his State of the Commonwealth speech last night and spoke on his plans to legalize marijuana and his support for legislation that would end Virginia’s death penalty. The Governor also noted how the state has more money than first anticipated based on revenues. Northam added that he would like to give teachers a raise as he enters his last year as Governor.
