When the Urbanna Town Council meets this Thursday it will continue to be via online teleconference. The Southside Sentinel reports a motion brought up at the Jan. 14 meeting to resume in-person meetings was not passed. According to Concilor Merri Hanson the move to virtual meetings last year resulted in more citizen participation with twice as many taking part than before in person meetings were halted.
