With the Virginia Department of Health calling for more volunteers to administer the COVID-19 vaccine the Virginia Dental Association which represents about 4,000 dentists says its members are ready to pitch in as soon as Governor Ralph Northam signs a bill allowing them and other allied health professionals to give the doses. The measure would also allow retired medical personnel and anyone with medical training to volunteer. Northam could sign the bill this week.
