A trial date has been set for the man charged in connection with a 2017 fatal boating crash in Lancaster County. Rand Hooper’s trial is set for June 21 but will be conducted in Norfolk. Hooper was indicted last December for felony homicide, involuntary manslaughter while operating a watercraft under the influence and failure to render aid. Investigators say Hooper was visiting at Graham McCormick’s Irvington home when Hooper crashed the boat which threw McCormick in the water resulting in his death.
