The Mathews County Sheriff’s Office is seeking tips to catch the suspect in an Ewellville Lane arson that happened on Jan. 23. The Mathews Voluntary Fire Department found the single wide trailer fully engulfed and after they got the blaze under control it was determine the origin was suspicious in nature. The sheriff’s office then took over the investigation and contacted the State Police Arson Squad. If you have any information on the suspect’s whereabouts call Crime Solvers at 725-7001.
