Rappahannock Electric Cooperative is looking for partners to utilize its infrastructure and rights-of-way to expand broadband internet service throughout its 22-county service area. A court ruling last year resulted in the cooperative not being able to become an internet service provider so that’s why they are looking for other companies to use their network. Once construction is complete the network will cover 820 miles with 130 end points. More information on partnership opportunities is at myrec.coop.
