A name change is coming to Sonabank. According to a news release Sonabank will change its name to Primis Bank and its parent company Southern National Bancorp of Virginia will be renamed Primis Financial Corp. The change takes effect on March 31. Southern National President Dennis Zember says over the last year they have focused on delivering a better return for shareholders and an experience for their customers that prompts them to brag about their bank.
