The Town of Urbanna is working to fill a pair of roles that became vacant when the town administrator resigned and the zoning administrator retired. Mayor Barbara Hartley tells the Southside Sentinel interviews were conducted on Monday and one individual was offered the position as “interim” town manager and the other was offered the job of “interim” zoning administrator. Both accepted the offers. The council is meeting today about the search for permanent candidates for town administrator and zoning administrator.
