Bay Transit officials say they are seeing increasing demand for their New Freedom Program Services. It provides seniors and individuals with disabilities transportation for medical appointments, work and shopping as well as attending social and recreational events even for travel outside of Bay Transit’s service area and service hours. New Freedom is funded through a Federal Transit Administration grant to serve all twelve counties in Bay Transit’s service area. Call (804) 824-2546 for more information on the service.
