Virginia State Police are investigating a bomb threat that occurred at Northern Neck Regional Jail on Monday, March 1.
Bomb arson investigators and an explosive detection K-9 responded to the scene, searched the facility, but didn’t find any explosives.
26 year old, John Austin Wainwright has been charged in connection with the incident. Wainwright was facing three charges, including revocation of a suspended sentence or probation, threat to bomb or damage a building, falsely calling or summoning police and terrorism.
