Gloucester Low Cost Housing Project Receives Va.Loan

A $260,000 loan is awarded to a Gloucester low-cost housing development under construction. The Gazette Journal reports Bay Aging received the money through the Virginia Housing Trust Fund for Daffodil Gardens Phase II which isadjacent to the original Daffodil Gardens. The Phase II project is a three-story building with 40 apartments and is less than a mile from Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Bay Aging officials say they expect the Phase II construction to be completed by October.
