A Lancaster man charged in a 2019 murder appeared in court last week on new charges. Jacob Monday was charged with being a prisoner in possession of a deadly weapon along with damaging and destroying property plus making the jail less secure. Monday is charged with killing David LaForge of Northumberland County then concealing the body. The trial on the murder charge is set for August and Monday will be in court in May on the new charges.
