6 new airplane hangars will be coming to Hummel Field airport in Topping. According to the Southside Sentinel the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors sold 1.5 acres to pilot and businessman Oscar Barber who tells the newspaper 2 of the hangars are sold already. Construction is expected to begin this summer and as part of the purchase agreement Barber is to widen and pave the taxiway to the fuel pumps.
