The Northumberland Public Library is presenting a new exhibit featuring snapshots of China from 1985 taken by photographer Michael Geissenger The exhibit features a selection from nearly 300 rolls of film he shot during that time observing the people and their lives It includes a trip on the Yangtze River including the Three Gorges before the dam was built. The exhibit opens Mar. 29 and runs through Apr. 30. A “Meet the Photographer Day” is planned for Saturday, Apr. 10.
