To vote or not to vote: That’s the question being considered by the Urbanna Town Council when it comes to the town mayor being able to cast ballots. The Southside Sentinel reports the council first encountered the question in January when the town attorney said the charter didn’t provide the mayor with voting privileges. Last month the council approved a motion okaying a mayoral vote but last week the council decided to get outside legal opinions on the issue.
