Virginia is working to replace the current online COVID-19 vaccination registration system because of flaws including allowing ineligible people sign up for an appointment only to be turned away. Vaccinate Virginia spokesperson Dena Potter says they are testing a new in-house software package to address the shortfalls. It’s being used to schedule appointments for the upcoming Community Vaccination Clinics. The current system will remain in place until testing of the new platform is complete.
