Town of Warsaw officials say they’ve received several complaints about drivers not observing the crosswalk warning signs and still speeding down Main Street. The Town Council will be directing Town Police to monitor all crosswalks and issue tickets if drivers do not stop at active crosswalks. The rules for stopping at occupied crosswalks apply to both vehicles and bicyclists. Pedestrians can trigger a flashing light when entering a crosswalk so officials say to watch for those lights.
