A Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Deputy receives the Law Enforcement Commendation Medal from the James Monroe Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Deputy Chad Conn has been with the department for 3 years and also works as a Field Training Officer assisting in training new deputies and serving as a mentor to those he trains. Deputy Conn also serves on the sheriff’s office Strategic Response Team. He is also a member of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
