The Town of White Stone plans to acquire around 40 acres of property as part of its public sewer and downtown revitalization projects. The Rappahannock Record reports the town council authorized taking out a bridge loan of up to $2 million to purchaase land near Windmill Point and Mosquito Point roads and around a third of an acre in the commercial district to expand existing off-street parking. Officials say the sewer project work is around 16 weeks behind schedule.
