2 men are charged in a pair of attempted burglaries at self-operated car washes in Gloucester County. Police say Larry Davis, and Marty Redmond, both of Yorktown damaged the coin-operated vacuum machines resulting in the equipment being knocked out of commission. Davis and Redmond were caught after a number of tips from social media and a collaborative effort with the York County Sheriff’s Office and the Newport News Police Department. Davis’ bond was set at $5,000 while Redmond was denied bond.
