A barbecue dinner fundraiser to benefit the Deltaville Community Association pool is scheduled for May 1 at the DCA building on General Puller Highway from noon until 2:00 p.m. The Southside Sentinel reports the event being held as part of National BBQ Day includes one pound of barbecue, one pint of coleslaw, one pint of baked beans and four rolls, all for $25, cash or check.
