The Essex County Museum and Gift Shop will reopen on May 1. Operating hours are on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The museum at 218 Water Lane, in the heart of Tappahannock will adhere to the mask and social distancing guidelines established by local, state and national agencies. Visitors are welcome to enjoy all that the museum and shop have to offer. All proceeds from the shop benefit the Museum’s programs and operations.
