Essex County Public Schools officials are making plans for the 2021-2022 school year and those plans will include the option of attending classes in person or virtual learning. Officials say offering both options will best support students and mitigate enrollment loss. The district is developing a series of surveys to gauge family interest in either the virtual or in-person instructional format so officials can properly plan and direct resources.
