Gov. Ralph Northam offered up amendments to over 3 dozen bills recently passed by the General Assembly and now lawmakers are looking at those proposed changes. One of those amendments proposes to speed up the timeline for legalizing recreational marijuana from 2024 until this summer. Northam also proposed 18 amendments to the Virigina budget. The GA will meet on Wednesday for a so-called “veto session” to review the amendments.
