Middlesex County’s Circuit Court has a new Clerk. The Southside Sentinel reports Rachel Hartenbach took the oath of office on Mar. 31 succeeding Lynn Dunlevy who announced her retirement. Dunlevy joined the clerk’s office in 1992 and became clerk in 2012. Hartenbach was deputy clerk for nine years, and a master deputy clerk for the last two years. A special election will be held in November to fill the remainder of Dunlevy’s term which runs through 2023.
