The Town of Irvington is seeking applications from those who want to become the next Mayor. According to the Rappahannock Record Mayor “Tripp” Bugg recently announced plans to step down telling the Town Council he will be moving out of Irvington. Bugg tells the newspaper that any qualified town voter who is interested in serving as mayor should write a letter of interest, attach a resume and send those documents to the town clerk. Bugg’s last day hasn’t been finalized.
