The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Keep Middlesex Beautiful Anti-Litter Committee to help with safety and security for those picking up litter. According to the Southside Sentinel the department also offered advice to questions regarding both traffic and trash laws, as well as helping identify the areas within the county that many people choose to illegally dump their trash. Crews are focusing on the Hartfield and Topping areas, but cleanup efforts are underway countywide.
