The Essex County Sheriff’s Department announced a memorial service in honor of Deputy Ken Delano will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a,m. It takes place at Essex High School in the parking lot. Deputy Delano died from COVID-19 related complications. The department posted a tribute on its Facebook page and said Deputy Delano was a tremendous asset to the office and the citizens of Essex County. His dedication to law enforcement is an inspiration to everyone.
