The Middlesex High School golf team competes today in the state tournament at Pete Dye River Golf course of Virginia Tech in Radford. The Southside Sentinel reports the team got to the tourney from their win at the Region A meet held at the Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington. Middlesex won the region team title with a 381 score beating Lancaster, second, 384; Rappahannock, third, 408; and Northumberland, fourth 459.
