The Middlesex Lions Club is accepting applications for 3 scholarships to be awarded in June. According to the Southside Sentinel the Club will offer two $1,000 scholarships and one $2,000 Paige Melton scholarship given in his memory by his wife, Rebecca. The scholarships will go to the seniors of Middlesex High School or any county resident enrolled in college or trade school. Application forms are at the high school and need to be turned in by May 21.
