Construction is set to begin on a new housing development in Colonial Beach. The Northern Neck News reports the development called School Hill is being built at the former high school site and will initally have 14 townhomes with 21 more to be built next year. It is the first of three phases in the $27 million dollar project that also includes updating buildings on Hawthorn and Irving Avenues plus a mixed use building along the boardwalk in downtown Colonial Beach.
