The Northampton County Board of Supervisors and Northampton County Public Schools select a Virginia Beach firm to design, renovate and modernize the 35-acre Northampton Middle/High School campus. Just over a third of the existing school will be demolished, half will be renovated and the school will add about 78,000 square feet including a dedicated wing for grades six through eight which will be similar to a remodeled wing for grades nine through 12. Construction is to begin next year.
