Northumberland High School’s 2021 commencement will be an outdoor in-person ceremony. The Rappahannock Record reports the May 22 commencement will be on the football field and each graduate can invite up to 4 family members. Those who aren’t comfortable being in a large gathering will be able to celebrate at an alternative venue. District officials estimate around 535 people will be at the outdoor ceremony including staff members.
