If you need to use Route 616 in Westmoreland County also known as Tavern Run Road you’ll need to plan for some extra time as flooding near Tavern Run damaged several drainage pipes. The detour route includes Route 203 (Oldhams Road), Route 604 (Sandy Point Road) and Route 615 (Jerusalem Church Road). A Virginia DOT spokesperson says the road will be closed for several days.
