Urbanna residents may not be able to use the town pool thus summer after all. According to the Southside Sentinel engineers found safety defects in the more-than-50-year-old pool and there may not be money available to fix the problems in time for the traditional Memorial Day opening. Lawmakers are looking into whether the town insurance could cover the costs. The pool didn’t open last year because of COVID-19.
