Virginia Adjusts Outdoor Mask Wearing Requirements

Virginians who are fully vaccinatied for COVID-19 will not need to wear masks while in small gatherings under a revised executive order from Gov. Ralph Northam. Mask wearing is still required at large outdoor gatherings. This puts Virginia in alignment with revised Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines issued earlier this week. Mask use is still required while indoors. Northam also increased the limit for outdoor recreational sports events to 1,000 people.
