The Anti-Defamation League ranks Virginia as 10th in the country for antisemitic events in 2020. The league’s annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents found nearly 50 events occurred with two-thirds being harrassment and the rest were vandalism. There have been no incidents involving assaults in Virginia over the last 5 years. The commonwealth’s 2020 incident numbers were up by 76% from 2019. New York had the most incidents followed by New Jersey and California.
