Westmoreland County residents can dispose of hazardous household waste at an event on Apr. 24 at the A.T. Johnson building parking lot off Kings Highway in Montross. Officials say social distancing rules are in effect so they ask residents to place items in vehicles so they can be easily removed by staff. There is no charge for the first 100 lb. of waste.
