Driver Rescued By GCSO Deputy Now Facing Charges

New information is released in the May 7 rescue of a woman by a Gloucester County Sheriff’s Deputy who lifted up her car so she could be freed from the wreckage. According to investigators the driver identified as Channelle Parker of Randallstown, Maryland had been in a hit-and-run accident on Route 17 near Main St. just before she crashed about a mile away. Parker is now charged with DUI, hit and run, holding a cell phone while driving and no vehicle inspection.
