Former Virginia Senator John Warner has died. The World War II and Korean War. veteran served as Navy Secretary for President Richard Nixon from 1972 to 1974. Warner represented Virginia in the Senate for 30 years, from 1979 to 2009. Warner became the sixth husband of Oscar-winning actress Elizabeth Taylor when they married in 1976. They divorced in 1982. Warner was 94.
