Virignia is to receive over $4.3 billion from the recently-passed American Rescue Plan and on Monday Governor Ralph Northam and the General Assembly released a joint statement on how the money will be used. The statement says the funding is a unique opportunity to invest in Virginia’s long-term future and they intend to be good stewards of these taxpayer dollars. The GA will meet this summer to determine specific areas where the money will be allocated.
