‘Gloucester 1776’ Takes Place This Weekend

The Gloucester Museum will host “Gloucester 1776: A Revolutionary Experience” on Saturday and Sunday along Main St. Activites each day begin at 10:00 a.m. You’ll be able to engage with dozens of re-enactors and learn what life was like for soldiers and civilians in Gloucester during the early days of the American Revolution. There will be cannon and musket firing demonstrations plus attendees can experience recruitment and learn to march in formation under the direction of a commanding officer. The event is free.
